— On FRIDAY 2nd March at 2.00 pm a few of us braved the snow brought in by 'The Beast from the East' and met in the Methodist Chapel
Based on the theme "All God's Creation is Very Good" the Service encouraged us to be thoughtful, prayerful and caring about our world and environment. The Service has been prepared by the Christian women of Suriname — a wonderfully fertile Sub-Tropical South American country with a diversity of population and wildlife. We can report that we all got home safely despite the 'Blizzard from the West' delivered by storm 'Emma'
We are all looking forward to re-opening our First Sunday Café on the first Sunday of April which is of course EASTER DAY. In addition to the generous ploughman's lunches, cake and coffee/tea there may well be EASTER EGGS! Do come along between 12.30 and 2 p.m. to enjoy good food and friendly fellowship.
