COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Many charities are supported by churches in the Ciruit but there are circumstances where support can be received as well as given, this page gives details of such opportunities.
AGE UK BUCKINGHAMSHIRE has been working for older people in Buckinghamshire for the past 65 years and provide support and services that make a real and positive difference to the quality of their lives, particularly the lives of the most vulnerable and isolated.
Age Concern and Help the Aged merged to form AGE UK, the UK's largest organisation working with and for older people; AGE UK BUCKS is an independent member and shares the same values, standards and overall aims, providing the same services and support for local older people. Every year we help over 6000 people in Buckinghamshire, and have a team of over 450 hard working volunteers without whom we would not be able to help so many residents. If you are elderly and need help, you may find the range of services offered by AGE UK could be of great help. If you are able bodied you may find that you can help AGE UK BUCKS. to provide the services.
Some of the Services provided:

Tel. 01296 431127 Befriending: The aim of the Befriending Scheme is to enhance the quality of life, and alleviate social isolation by fulfilling emotional needs.
