Statistics for Mission

You are reminded that the time is again approaching when Stewards are required to make a Head Count of those attending Sunday Services and other meetings with Worship Content during the First Four Weeks of October.

The statistics gathered by the October Count are part of the much larger CONNEXIONAL DATABASE on which each District, Circuit and Church has a profile
which shows names and contact details of many office holders.

The intention is that this should provide a resource through which the main offices of the Methodist Connexion can communicate directly down to local church level if necessary, by the most appropriate means. In these days email is preferred as it saves time, postage and paper.

It should be obvious that this means all the data on each church must be accurate which means regular updating at the Local Church level, someone in each church needs to take on the responsiblity of checking the accuracy of the data and making any necessary amendments - The October Count provides an ideal reminder and opportunity for this to be done.
