Advert for ATCC Street Angels Co-ordinator

To lead on the development and delivery of the Aylesbury Town Centre Chaplaincy (ATCC) Street Angels project.  This will provide practical help and support for those who become vulnerable in any way on a weekend night /morning in the town centre from circa 10pm until around 4am.

We are looking for someone who is committed, creative and self-managing with experience in coordinating projects.  They must have experience of working as part of a team and in working with volunteers. The person will work as part of the ATCC operations group. The role involves both this, and practical management of street angels teams on a week to week basis. 

At the moment ATCC has funding to offer this role for 7 hours a week at £10 per hour, but it is hoped that the service will grow over time.

An opportunity to give some OLD BOOKS a new home

In common with many other churches Stoke Mandeville has decided to buy 'Singing the Faith' and will be faced with the question of what to do with the unwanted copies of Hymns & Psalms. We thought we may have found the answer in a Charity called BOOK-AID. Unfortunately they can't take Hymns and Psalms but they are interested in old Bibles and other Christian Literature and the old Methodist Hymn Book (1933/34).
