A NEW LEP!

The churches of St Mary’s Parish Church, Hardwick and Weedon Methodist Church have taken the step of forming a Local Ecumenical Partnership, building on many years of good relationships between the congregations. This was marked by a special service on the 29th November 2009 which was jointly led by the Rev Peter Hancock, Chair of the Northampton Methodist District and the Bishop of Buckingham.

All the Services taking place within the LEP are listed above, you will be made very welcome at any of these services.

Wedding venue: Attractively situated in a picturesque village overlooking the Aylesbury Vale, the well appointed church with its oak pews, pannelled communion area and and two stained glass windows (one depicting the Last Supper) is often described as a 'haven of peace'.

It is a very popular venue for weddings (75 during the last four years) and fully opened up can hold up to  150 people.  Its lawns surrounded by trees and shrubs make an ideal setting for photo calls.

The Church is a member of the Quiet Gardens Scheme.

‘Come with me to a quiet place and get some rest’

Silence is not the absence of the word but the

Presence of God
