Coronavirus regulations At a meeting between Rev Keith Edwards and the Stewards it was decided on the following course of action effective from Sunday 3rd October:
-We will continue to register people attending church
-Sanitiser will be offered to all, but people can decline using it
-The prayer request book will be re-introduced
-Apart from socially distanced individual chairs, we will have double chairs against both church walls, and, if necessary, additional seating will be used to avoid people having to sit in the hall
-Masks may be worn, but it will be everyone's choice about wearing them
-The service will return to the 60-minute format and the preacher will use the pulpit
-Dedicated Bible readers will resume, who will be sitting in the front row and reading from the lectern
-The Bible and prayer request book will be brought to the front at the beginning of the service
-The introit will be re-introduced
-The collection will be brought forward for a dedication
-Windows and doors will be left open to allow for air movement.
This cautious approach is in line with advice from the Connexion.
We offer a warm and friendly welcome to people of all ages. Our Sunday morning services are normally held at 10.00am and are followed by refreshments and a chance for a chat. We have an occasional café church, a monthly weekday afternoon fellowship group and an evening fellowship/study group. We also have strong ecumenical and community involvement and share monthly united evening services with the Parish Church and Baptist Church.
The worship area is flexible and the building has good access and facilities for the disabled. We are situated near the town centre on the A4010 Aylesbury – High Wycombe Road. Parking is in the surrounding streets or there is a public car park within 300 yards.
We hope to see you soon.
