Preaching Plans

Back home  /  Services  /  Preaching Plans

In future Plans will cover quarterly periods as follows:

  • September to November.
  • December to February.
  • March to May.
  • June to August.

This sequence is followed by many, possibly the majority, of Methodist Circuits and is based on the Methodist Year which commences in September.
It means that arrangements for Christmas and Covenant Services can be finalised at September Church Councils. In general Dates for appointments(AFs) should be submitted by the beginning of the 2nd month of each period.
Details of special Services should be submitted as early as possible via the CHRESTOS CHURCH forms, preferably as and when they are agreed at Church Councils.
These changes make no difference to the CHRESTOS system.
