Well what can we say except thank you, thank you, thank you, to everyone for their hard work for such successful Harvest Festival, with a very special thank you to everyone at the allotments, we really was so surprised by you generous donation's, we couldn't have done it without your support. It was so lovely to see so many faces today in Chapel and at the Harvest Auction after, it really was something special and something we can all be very proud of, once again thank you and God Bless you all.
We Had a very successful Harvest Supper on. We would like thank everyone who attended. We had a lovely 2 course meal followed by tea and coffee with cheese and biscuits. We would like to say thank you to everyone who helped with cooking, serving, washing up and the setting up, which made it such a success. We would also like to say thank you to Rev. Noreen Daley-Lee for joining us with her family and for saying the opening prayer.
We are having a Christmas Fair this year at Waddesdon Methodist, we will have stalls for you to have a browse round, or just come along for and have a cream tea with a festive twist, we are hoping to have a nice range of stalls, including puzzles, toys, cakes and more. So come along on 3rd December 2022 to the Methodist Hall the fair will be running from 11.30am – 4.30pm.
Waddesdon Methodist is having a flower festival on Monday 1st May 2023 in the chapel, we will also be serving cream teas and other cakes, tea, coffee and squash. Please come along and support our church. The event will start at: 10.30am – 4.30pm, all displays will be themed around King Charles's Coronation and his life we hope to see you all there.
We had another successful Harvest Festival on Sunday 10th September 2023. We would like to say another big thank you for all the donations from the allotments, we are truly grateful for all the donations and all the hard work making this produce. We would also like to say a big thank you to everyone else involved in the harvest festival. It was lovely to see some new faces in the congregation. Finally we would like to thank everyone who made a bid in the auction, we are grateful for every penny we raise as this allows us to keep doing these events. Thank you everyone and God bless.
This year's Harvest Supper was even more successful than last years. We had more people attend this year and it was so lovely to see everyone there. We was so thankful to everyone who attended our supper this year, it really does mean so much for all the support we get from you all. We would also like to say thank you to everyone that helped at the supper, no matter what role you had it was greatly appreciated. Thank you again and we are looking forward to next year's.
We will be having a Christmas Afternoon Tea at Waddesdon this year, alongside the Afternoon Tea there will also be some stalls as well. The event is happening on Saturday 2nd December 1:30pm-5:30pm. Tickets for the Afternoon Tea will cost £8:00, but if you wish to come along and just have a browse at the stalls then please feel free.
